No RA (Return Authorization) number from SFI is required for equipment to be repaired.
Equipment to be repaired should be packed in a sturdy container with adequate packing material. It is not recommended that styrofoam peanuts be used. This material may get inside equipment, such as VCRs and make the repair more difficult. Heavy items will work to the bottom of the container if packed in peanuts and will be more susceptible to being damaged in shipment. Bubble wrap and foam are excellent packing material for CCTV equipment. It is recommended that equipment shipped to SFI Electronics be insured.

Equipment will be returned UPS Ground unless otherwise requested by customer. Equipment shipped to the West Coast or west of the Mississippi may be shipped UPS 3rd Day to expedite return of the repaired equipment.
Invoices showing charges on repaired equipment will be included in the shipping container with the equipment. This will allow SFI's customers to bill their customers for repair charges on an expedited basis. All shipments made by SFI to customers will be insured. Shipping and insurance charges will be prepaid and added to the customer's invoice. Sales tax will also be added unless sales tax exemption documentation has been provided to SFI (resale or direct pay certificates). If credit has not been approved, shipments will be made on a COD basis. If a customer is rated by Dun & Bradstreet, the extension of credit will be facilitated.
SFI can supply automated proof of delivery for UPS shipments.
